This Privacy Policy describes how we process data of users of the Notyfy (the “App”).

2. What data we collect
When you use the App, we may process the following data:
- Technical data: a random device identifier (
deviceId), push notification token (Expo Push Service), operating system type, IP address (for technical and security purposes). - Data provided by you: URLs added for monitoring, monitor names (optional), email address (for email notifications), phone number (for SMS notifications in the Pro plan).
- Monitoring-related data: HTTP response codes, availability states (UP/DOWN), check timestamps.
3. Why we process data
- monitoring website and application availability,
- sending notifications (push, email, SMS),
- ensuring proper operation and security of the App,
- improving service quality and reliability,
- subscription management.
We do not use your data for profiling or advertising purposes.
4. Legal basis
- GDPR Article 6(1)(b) – performance of a contract (providing the service),
- GDPR Article 6(1)(f) – our legitimate interests (security and service reliability),
- your consent – for email and SMS notifications.
5. Push, email and SMS notifications
The App may use Expo Push Service (expo-notifications) to send push notifications. For email and SMS notifications, we may use third-party delivery providers. Data required to deliver notifications is used only for that purpose.
6. Sharing data
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties, except:
- service providers (hosting, push, email, SMS),
- when required by law.
Providers process data only on our instructions.
7. Data retention
We store data for as long as you use the App, until monitors are deleted or you withdraw your consent (e.g., for email/SMS). Data may be anonymized for statistical purposes.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data,
- rectify it,
- erase it (“right to be forgotten”),
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- withdraw consent at any time.
